How to locate the MAC ID of a Sony smart TV

To find the MAC address of a Sony Smart TV, you can use the remote control to navigate to the TV's menu and select the appropriate options: 
  1. Press the HELP button on the remote
  2. Depending on your TV's menu options, you can:
  3. Select Status & Diagnostics → Network status and diagnostics
  4. Select Status & Diagnostics → View network status
  5. Select Contact & Support → System Information → MAC Address (Wired)/MAC Address (Wireless)
The MAC address will be displayed

You can also find the MAC address by navigating to the TV's Contact Sony section: 
  1. Turn on the TV
  2. Press the HOME button on the remote
  3. Press the left arrow to select Settings
  4. Press the up arrow to select Product Support
  5. Press the SELECT button
  6. Press the down arrow to select Contact Sony
  7. Press the SELECT button
  8. The Device ID, or MAC address, will be displayed at the bottom of the menu screen
