Connect your TCL Smart TV to WI-Fi
So, you’ve got a shiny new TCL Smart TV and can’t wait to dive into all those streaming apps. But first, you need to get it connected to the Wi-Fi. Don’t worry, it’s easier than it sounds, and I’m here to walk you through it.
Step 1: Turn on Your TCL Smart TV
Press the power button on your remote control to turn on the TV.
Step 2: Find the Home Button
Look for a button with a little house icon. That's the "Home" button. Press it once.
Step 3: Go to Settings
You'll see a menu pop up on your TV screen. Use the arrow buttons on your remote to navigate to the "Settings" option. It usually looks like a gear or wrench. Press "OK" to select it.
Step 4: Select Network Settings
In the Settings menu, scroll down and choose Network & Internet.
Step 5: Choose Wi-Fi
Here, you should see the option Wi-Fi. Make sure it’s turned on. If not, toggle the switch to enable Wi-Fi.
The TV will now scan for available Wi-Fi networks. This might take a few seconds, so just hang tight.
Step 6: Select Your Wi-Fi Network
A list of Wi-Fi networks should appear on the screen. Look for the name BOATER WIFI
**If you have your own custom Wi-Fi name feel free to connect to that instead!
Use the arrows on your remote to highlight your network and press OK.

Step 7: Enter Your Wi-Fi Password
Enter the password: wireless
Take your time here and make sure the password is correct. Passwords are case-sensitive, so pay attention to the capital letters!
**If you have your own custom Wi-Fi name, please use the password to that instead!
Step 8: Connect and Enjoy!
Once you've entered the correct password, select "Connect" or "OK". Your TV will try to connect to the Wi-Fi network. If everything goes well, you'll see a message saying it's connected.
That's it! You've successfully connected your TCL smart TV to Wi-Fi. Now you can enjoy streaming movies, TV shows, and more!
If you have any trouble, don't hesitate to check the TV's user manual or contact TCL support.
