How to connect to Boater Wifi

Step 1: Locate the Wi-Fi Settings on Your Device

Before you can connect to any Wi-Fi network, you need to access the Wi-Fi settings on your device. The process varies slightly depending on the type of device you are using:

  • Windows PC: Click on the network icon in the taskbar, usually located in the bottom-right corner of the screen. It looks like a series of ascending bars or a globe. Select "Network & Internet settings" and then click on "Wi-Fi" from the menu.
  • Mac: Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar at the top-right corner of the screen. If the Wi-Fi is off, click "Turn Wi-Fi On."
  • iPhone/iPad: Open the "Settings" app, then tap on "Wi-Fi."
  • Android Phone/Tablet: Open the "Settings" app, then tap on "Network & internet" or "Connections," and then select "Wi-Fi."

Step 2: Scan for Available Networks

Once you have accessed the Wi-Fi settings on your device, your next step is to scan for available networks. Your device will display a list of all nearby Wi-Fi networks.

Step 3: Select "Boater Wifi"

From the list of available networks, locate and select "Boater Wifi." Ensure you are selecting the correct network, as multiple networks may have similar names.

Step 4: Enter the Password

After selecting "Boater Wifi," you will be prompted to enter the network password. Carefully type in the password: wireless. Ensure you enter the password exactly as it is, as Wi-Fi passwords are case-sensitive.

Step 5: Connect to the Network

Once you have entered the password, click or tap on the "Connect" button. Your device will attempt to connect to the network. If the password is entered correctly and the network is functioning properly, you should be connected within a few seconds.
